We've been majorly spammed in the past. To the point where checking whether the editor was a human or a robot wasn't enough. To the point where we couldn't keep up with restoring defaced pages either. Some of this community members wanted to point their clients to this website, and wouldn't dare doing so because of foul contents. So we went bold and asked our host LaurentBossavit to disable the edit option. Our hope was to clean up contents, leave this website as a reference for future generations, and move on with some other form of landing point for anyone interested in dojos. Then we got busy and a way too much time has passed by. The wiki went into hibernation mode, waiting for better times to get back to activity.
Greetings everyone.

Back to now. The wiki is still in hibernation mode - but we're not anymore. Please accept all our apologies for not getting the wiki back to a workable mode faster. Our first goal is to satisfy those of you who wanted to update the WikiPages? for a legitimate reason. This is far less than perfect, but until further notice, if you want to change something on the wiki, please write us and let us know.
It's been about a year since my previous message (see the page history if you want to read it). I haven't enabled the edit mode back, mostly because I have yet to find a good way to address the spam issue we've been facing in the past. I'm still exploring ideas, might come up with something interesting in a short while. Or not. Time will tell. What's important for now is, I'm still here. I haven't abandoned this wiki, and I'm still willing (more than ever, actually) to make it a place friendly for those who want to contribute to the topic, and to keep the spammers away. Please remain patient.

This is sad. This is not the way a wiki is meant to function. And for sure this is not the way we wanted this specific wiki to function. We wanted everyone to be able to read and contribute to what we still see as experimental work, shaping new ways of teaching and learning programming techniques. We're working out a way to be able to welcome input from anyone intersted in coding dojos, and to keep spammers out at the same time. As soon as we have a viable solution, we'll let you know. If you have suggestions, please write us (our mail addresses are on our respective WikiPage?).
Thank you for all of you who've signaled me spam in the pages of this wiki. I usually haven't been as reactive as I'd wished I would, but each of your comments has been very helpful. And it signaled me that others care about this place. Please continue to do so. I've been today going through a major and agressive cleaning of the wiki. I don't think I've erased anything of value, but if I did, I apologize. Be assured it wasn't my intention.

The purpose of this wiki is to gather user stories for what the Coding Dojo global web site should provide to its user community. The wiki will provide "scaffolding" while the site grows in functionality to meet these requirements.

To start off, a directory of who we are and what exactly are we doing:
